The latest residential plot scheme launched by Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has received an overwhelming response from homebuyers and investors across the country. The authority’s residential plot scheme, launched on April 6, attracted a total of 105,842 applications for just 973 residential plots, resulting in an average of 108 applicants competing for every plot.

The draw for plot allotment is scheduled to take place on June 18, and thousands of applicants are now eagerly waiting for the lottery results. The scheme has once again highlighted the growing popularity of the Yamuna Expressway region, especially due to rapid infrastructure development, upcoming commercial hubs, and proximity to the Noida International Airport.

Huge Demand for Residential Plots

The housing plot scheme witnessed extraordinary participation from buyers looking for long-term investment opportunities and residential development near the upcoming airport corridor. According to officials, the authority received applications worth more than ₹6,848 crore in the form of 10 percent registration amounts deposited by applicants.

In addition to this, the authority also earned approximately ₹7.69 crore through brochure sales, indicating the massive interest in the project. The application process for the scheme officially ended on May 6.

These two categories had the maximum number of plots available under the scheme, making them the most attractive choices for middle-income buyers and investors.

Lottery Draw Scheduled for June 18

Officials from the authority confirmed that all applications are currently under verification. After scrutiny of the submitted documents and applicant details, the provisional list of applicants will be uploaded on the official website.

Applicants will also be given an opportunity to raise objections or correct discrepancies before the final list is published. Once the verification process is completed, the final lottery draw for allotment of plots will take place on June 18.

According to YEIDA ACEO Shailendra Bhatia, transparency will be maintained throughout the allotment process. The computerized lottery system will ensure fair allocation of plots to successful applicants.
